Guest IMHF Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I just picked this up last night from a dealer online. This book was found in Kuwait after the 1991 Gulf War it was left in a Bunker after the Iraqi Republican Guard pushed back into Iraq. It would have belonged to an Iraqi Officer to keep track of his soldiers on the Battlefield; I am working on a full translation of all the Arabic. It is 47 pages long and has 20 Iraqi Army soldiers’ photos in it. Lorenzo
Guest IMHF Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Here are a few more pages out of the file book. Lorenzo
Guest IMHF Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 I see most of the dates date back from the 1980's during the Iraq Iran War. Lorenzo
Guest IMHF Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 The oldest date I found on it so far was 1974 Lorenzo
Guest IMHF Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 On this page it says this guy was injured in a battle in 1987 in Basrah; he died in the hospital of his wounds. Lorenzo

Guest IMHF Posted March 24, 2011 Posted March 24, 2011 Lorenzo, Who or what are all these insignia for? Are they all military units? Bob Well Bob it is good to hear from you, it seems that Iraqi military and civil services are coming out with all knid of insignia to wear. I have seen many of these new Insignia pop up since 2004-to now! As a collector one of each set would be great for my collection!! Thank you Lorenzo
