on my attic I've found this item. It looks a bit like a patch. Could you tell me what it was used for? Dimensions: 7 cm x 11 cm; epf 1942 WA 195.

I've always thought that smal letters indicate weapon related stuff. Is this patch the same size as medic pouch part?

As far as I know, these codes were placed on all weapons and field gear(belts and ect included). It is hard to say what it went to exactly, as I am not a field gear specialist but my guess is that it is a part of a medical pouch or perhaps a rucksack. I would love to hear more input!

I agre,this is hard to say.I think this is for Horse ( Epf code i saw before of my Horse equipment).

not something of a medical pouch.

Odd piece of leather, but with the stitching holes and such it seems it would more then likely have been put on some sort of canvas material or something.
