Paul R
Those look like high ranking Railroad Officials boards. I dont believe that they are of General Ranking, but I could be wrong. Regardless, they are not commonly seen at all!! :jumping:
Rosenberg
OOOOPS,that blue color led me the wrong way it seems. Thanks a lot for the correction
Paul R
The DDR used very similar boards post war. They are still very uncommon and cool pieces! I will ask some of our DDR collectors, but I think that they are WW2

Paul R
Those boards with the black nebenfarbe are LW Admin Officials. Very nice set. I have no idea what the first set of boards are. Perhaps Rick may?

Paul R
You do know that the last set(with the tabs) is a Heer Zahlmeister. It is for a Heer Admin Official(Paymaster).

Laurence Strong
I think they are Kaiser era beamte boards but I am not positive
Gordon Craig
Paul has asked me to comment on the first boards shown. Who they are for doesn't immediately come to mind. I am several thousand miles away from my research data so can not look them up. They look rather odd to me thought. The weave of the cords is too loose for authentic WII or DDR boards. The fact that one star is fastened by having the prongs pushed through the board is not normal either. The odd looking boards that come next don't resemble anything that I have ever seen before. A fantasy piece? The boards with the HV on them are for Heersverwaltung. Military Administration for a beamten officer. The two colour waffenfarb could indicate reserve status but my memory could be wrong here. I think the two colour system was abolished before the war.Regards,Gordon Edited August 10, 2008 by Gordon Craig
Rosenberg
Thanks for the additional comments. The first one is tough nut it seems.
Paul R
I dont think that they are reproduction though. I feel that they may be early Railway beamte. I cannot answer for the pips though.
