Tom Y
Here are a couple cased EKII's that just arrived from 2 different sources. First a nicely toned S-W in a minty fresh case. i've never seen one with the full size EK impression on the lid before.

joe campbell
tom-both of these are wonderful variations and inwonderful shape.in fact, these were the catalyst for my switchinginterest to Imperial from TR.imagine a medal as "common" as the EK 2(how many billions served???) with many wanting to dress it up a bit with its own case...and the jewellers and manufacturers responded.i am no longer surprised at seeing a "new" variation.it is a testament to craftsmanship, pride, and thespirit of a nation. these remain in my mind a relatively inexpensive means of collecting highquality, interesting pieces.and you got them from one of the good guys!!lucky dog!!!joe
Stogieman
Hi Tom, the first case with the embossed EK I have not seen before..... very, very nice. I'm glad you snagged the Austrian one from Paul........ very special indeed!!
Dave B
The more beautiful Imperial EK's I see like these cased examples and Micha's Godet EK1,the further I get from the DARKSIDE ......I've even started collecting British WW1 Seriously though, great EK's! Tom Y
Thanks, all. Although I don't have many I love EKII cases for their variety and the fact that the common Soldat had a better chanc of getting one of them than an EKI. Now, if I can just find one of those mini-Pickel jobs...
