Would be nice to have proper thread titles that say something about the content of the thread rather than the umpteenth "Rare" or "Is this rare" thread.... especially when they are, more often than not, not rare.

I would call into question originality of the given medal.

1. A nimbus over a head of the woman

2. A humpbacked nose at sailor

I think the nimbus comes from the angle were the picture is taken.

Here are two genuine medals one with nimbus and the other without.

On presented to a medal usairforce. At the woman a nimbus only on top of a head instead of on all perimetre. I certainly can be mistaken!:-) But I do not trust in originality of the given medal.
