I read somewhere that the same type of eagle was used for the army 4 year and navy.

Very nice Don and yes you are right,that type of eagle was used for Heer and KM while the Luftwaffe had their own flying eagle.

I agree Don!

I too prefer items that appear to have actually been used... but not abused! A very handsome Heer/KM bar!(although I am more than 99.9% confident that it is Heer with the grey backing).
