Chris Boonzaier
Reminiscent of this old 'connection' ???? ...................... Hi, I saw the above docs for sale, has nothing to do with the FW troops at all though. Almost all Pionier Units were closely intertwined with the MW units. best Chris

Thomas W
Tom. Book was sent to me today. Fantastic work! Many thanks again. Cheers, Robin. My pleasure, Robin. I always appreciated your positive, supportive approach to this field. I'm glad you like the book. It's my final volume in the field. I'm publishing my memoirs in the fall, and then it's on to fiction.

Robin Lumsden
Found this interesting from the recent Rohr post. Another connection between Minenwerfer and Flammenwerfer ............ and a non-standard FW TK. If only it had been black!
Robin Lumsden
If the one above is 'MInenwerfer - Flammenwerfer - Brandenburger' ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, .................. then maybe the one below is 'Minenwerfer - Flammenwerfer - Wuerttemberger', as originally captioned, after all !! :)

Sergeant 08
In tradition of the Imperial IR92: Wehrmacht IR17! Nobody wanted this piece in an auction yesterday and I decided to give this orphan a new home. Now it can live together with the other skulls in my collection. PS: Had another similar one before, but not with such a nice skull. Edited July 23, 2012 by Sergeant

Robin Lumsden
Recently acquired by a well-known collector friend from across the water ..................... with Wiener Dogs !! In his words ...................... "Minenwerfer Abteilung Heuschkel had 8 light Minenwerfer and 1 Flammenwerfer platoon so it counts for Flammenwerfer and Minenwerfer. There was probably only 200 made, as there were only 14 officers and 183 men." Edited July 28, 2012 by Robin Lumsden

Robin Lumsden
In common with many FK badges from 1919-20, the originals of these were in black-painted brass. Just like a WW1 Wound Badge. The common repros are in white metal, like this .............................
