Scott Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Wow - another beauty! Any markings to be found in this one?
Bob Lyons Posted June 1, 2009 Author Posted June 1, 2009 Thanks guys, I have 2 with flight piping already, so this makes number three, and I almost didn't go for it, butonce I saw the condition I couldn't pass it up. Scott, there is no markings at all that I could find inside thesweatband, which is made of a sort of 'oilcloth' type material. It came from a friend in Brisbane who bought itfrom Mike Heuer in the US.Bob
Scott Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 You and Mike seem to have the same fine taste in LW collectables! I wish I'd had deeper pockets when Mike started liquidating his LW items (I managed to get just one of his cased flight badges).
Paul R Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Bob!!! That is an amazing visor in impecable condition!! I always enjoy seeing your treasures!
