Guest Rick Research Posted November 30, 2005 Share Posted November 30, 2005 Yup-- here it is: a "dimple" behind the hammer and sickle type variant that isn't listed in McDaniel & Schmitt among all the variations.this one has coal colored never-touched patina and VERY small engraved serial number right across the dimple, so hard to make it visible. deep dark red, and because this is the thin type, the vaulted arms seem even more curved than they really are.
