Why am I rare?

OK, here's a very nice Bavarian Medal Bar with 3 simple, unimpressive pieces. 150- Euro and counting. Who can tell me why it's so rare?

Closed at 200- Euro......... who can tell me why??

The last cross is pretty rare... it was awarded from 1906 until 1919:

O&EK 2001-2002 lists it for Eur 179.-!

It is listed for Eur 200,- in the 2003/2004 edition.

Exactly gentleman......... now, the fun part is...... I have seen two (2) EVER! One of our fellow Forumites now owns the second one!

I enjoyed touching that group as it passed through for astroturf-free scanning. Of course yours in doubly terrific with the also extremely rare Civil Merit Medal.

So, who was the lucky winner of the SECOND one I've seen in 30 years? I can't believe my Evil Twin dropped the ball on THAT for the ridiculously low price! Though finding a CORRECT Civil Merit Medal on the OLD Bavarian style bar in place of the silly M1913 IX Years Long Service will be horrific-- I've seen maybe 6 in 30 years-- the police cross is by far the scarcer in the real world!

That is just anoher example why You do not need to take the prices in the OEK overly serious.

2 known examples here and I know of another ribbon bar with one on it and such a ridiculaus price in the OEK.
