M Hunter
Gents, What is your opinion on this medal bar? Looks very clean to me.... What is the 7th Medal? Thanks Matt
Guest Rick Research
God knows. But the combination otherwise is impossible-- a recipient of a pre-war Red Eagle Order 4th Class (at Captain/Major level) in 2nd place could never have received the Austro-Hungarian Merit Cross (for Sergeants) on war ribbon in 8th place. POSSIBLY a routine and normal ÖM3K was swapped out there-- since the last ribbon is for a WW1 Commemorative Medal from Austria, NOT an Austro-Hungarian Red Cross Decoration. Monkey fingers, at the least.
Ulsterman
Now if the Long service hadn't been there...... Looks neo-Austrian to me.
