In the last year or so I have noticed more people starting to collect wound badges. I have also noticed beginners showing oddball or the more rare types as first badges they acquired .In this thread I would like to build an example collection that maybe a beginner

Might use as a guide. I hope my fellow collectors will add some pictures of badges

They might like to see in a beginner?s collection. Lets say the collection would be about 15 items related to the wound badge field. Imperial also could be in the collection.

I will start .....Black marked 65 by Klein&Quenzer.A 65 a must for any collection.

reverse. note that the reverse is not a mirror image as most WB's by not showing the stippling on the front, also note alignment marks for the pin and catch

Wow a wounded wound badge :speechless1:

OK Don some basic solid zincers (silver). :ninja:

First one mm 4, Second one 107, and the third one 30.

Very basic and quite common badges.

    Regards,

    Ronny.
