Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach medal bar

This is my first medal bar fron this Grand Duchy. I think the Silver General Honor Decoration is a wartime issue as it is marked 990. I have not seen these on medal bars many times.

First: a "argentan" (kind of white medal and silvered) piece, in my humble opinion a end 20ies-30ies medal "Spangenst?ck" or in English a second issue medal used for a court mounted bar. Note the attachment system.

Very nice pieces Claudio. There is something special about that rich chocoloate brown finish. When done well I find it very attractive.
