Paul C
Depending upon what the first medal is it may be possible with much looking thru old ranklists.
Wild Card
Depending upon what the first medal is it may be possible with much looking thru old ranklists. The first medal appears to be a Württemberg silver Carl-Olga medal which was founded on 16 June 1889. Magnificent bar!
saschaw
Great bar, but odd bar. I have some doubts we will find him in military rank lists. Anything available on Württemberg civilians?
Claudio
Yeah... I thought like Sascha; it must have been a Württemberg citizen (see first red cross medal) who served in the 1870-71 as combattant, but he wasn't necessarly an Army Officer (see the BZO2 w/o X). Very nice bar, maybe of a "Sanitäter" or later civilian doctor? Ciao, Claudio
HeikoGrusdat
Would you please confirm that N°1 is a silver medal.... or is it bronze?
pinpon590
Thank you all ! To Heiko, yes, it is a silver medal...
saschaw
Using "the Bretzendorfer" I could not find one single Württemberg officer who received just BZ3b and RSt3. So probably a civilian.
Paul C
He may be listed in the Württemberg State and Court books.
HeikoGrusdat
He may be listed in the Württemberg State and Court books. I think so.... the only problem is that we have no date to start the search.... I can`t go through every year with hundred of pages.... I went through the complete DOA 1905 last night and checked all the silver COMs but no match....
