Noor
Hi, I got this General Honour Decoration (Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen) from fellow forum member and good friend of mine. I presume it is most likely WW1 period issue but would like to share a picture just in case. So, what Prussian experts can tell me? Is it late strike? I know this award do not have much details to follow over the different time frames but still. Ring is large, what I presume indicates 20th century? saschaw
From what I see, this should be a late, post 1889 type. Nothing uncommon, but I really like them.
M Hunter
Very nice Timo. I have a similar one but on a medal bar. Unfortunately my camera is not functioning properly so the photos are rather poor. Best wishes Matt Edited September 28, 2010 by M Hunter

saschaw
This one I bought in Sweden earlier this year, what do you think, awarded to a woman ? I'm not sure if any of these went to women. But I've seen men wearing "lady" bows... And the back ? Or front ? That's the back, while many believe the "FWRIII" to be the front.
Wild Card
That's the back, while many believe the "FWRIII" to be the front. Correct, and it doesn’t end there. There is a very good discussion on this topic over on the WAF. http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=452504 Edited October 10, 2010 by Wild Card
Wild Card
 I’m sorry gentlemen. For some reason the address to the WAF thread will not print here. Go to the Imperial Militaria Forum and then to the “Militar-Ehrenzeichen 1.kl”. As you will see, this misconception is often applied to a number of decorations. I wish I could find bargains like that Christer Hello Christerd, I am sorry to say that I did not get the cross shown on the WAF, I only added some information on the old obverse/reverse question. You are so right though - those crosses are fantastic... at just about any price. Regardss, Wild Card
