Bob Hunter
Not being a Sino-Soviet collector, what makes these particularly bad, Rick?
Stogieman
Well, to start. The OPW2 looks like a cast hunk of lead on the back. I'm a novice, but I suspect everything now having been shown literally hundreds of fakes. I'm sure our more experienced members can give the point by point breakdown (please). I'll assume nobody likes them. But it would be helpful to get a blow-by-blow why they are bad! Thanks!

deptfordboy
Hi, I am certainly a beginner in this field but I would be suspect of the 'patina' on the back of the OGPW1, which appears too oily and looks to have been applied chemically, they even splashed some on the edges of the brass suspension? But hey, what do I know as it seems to be going for big bucks right now...Cheers Gilbert
Stogieman
Well, somebody paid some high prices for bad pieces.... or they just won the deal of the year. I could not bring myself to bid. The pix/images were just to sloppy no matter how much I tried to see through them. I hope somebody didn't get burned too bad!
order_of_victory
I bought the 2nd class fake but had it checked out before I acctually took delivery and rejected the medal and the seller gave me real one in return. But seller has just tried to sell the 2nd class again recently When the auction closed I contacted the highest bidder and told him to reject the medal!
