DDR Signature help

When seeking out signatures there is a better chance of success if the whole document is shown so that dates, ranks, positions etc can be checked and confirmed or whether it is a fake.

Hi BURGERHAUS,

It seems, that the document was printed in 1983.

From 1981 to 1987 Siegfried Akkermann was the president of the DRK in the DDR.

The signature is not original, it is a printed facsimile.

Uwe Is it customary for the Year not to be filled out? It seems odd to me. 23 Oktober 19---- Sorry to be a bother. Thank You

it is not usual, but you can find it on several documents of the DDR, during all years.

The date 23. Oktober 19.. was preprinted, because it was the day of the foundation of the DRK in the DDR (23. Oktober 1952).

And the 23. Oktober was the day of the award ceremony.
