JapanX Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 Different orders – same technical marks But the really interesting question will be the time period during which these technical (and personal) marks were in use. Most probable it is period between 1927 and 1945. Indirect evidence that confirm that time period we could get from Mongolian phaleristic (which is simply a subdivision of Soviet phaleristic ).
JapanX Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 Personal and technical marks time horizon A very interesting perspective could be obtained from marks on early types of Mongolian Orders. As we know before 1991 all Mongolian orders were produced by Soviet mint. Naturally same personal and technical marks that we find on Soviet orders could be found on Mongolian orders. But these marks could be found only and only on Mongolian orders that were manufactured before 1945 (inclusive). Let’s discuss these marks and orders on which they could be found.
