I am planning to research this one in the near future. I just hope that the awards booklet looks good, the awards are fine in my opinion.

-Order of the Red Star, early type with the "pebbled" back, #390867

-Order of the Red Star, #1379987

-Medal for Merit in Combat, early type; red ribbon was replaced with a piece of red cloth possibly by the owner, #252449

There are no entries for Kapinichenko. But I think his name is Kalinichenko.

Compare the L from Pave(l) with the letter of his last name Ka(l)inichenko.

    best regards

I really don't like the handwriting in the booklet. There is a Pavel Ivanovich Kalinichenko on Podvig Naroda, but that guy received two OPW2s and a late 1944 Red Star, so that can't be this guy. Or it is this guy, but his booklet has been bleached and new serial numbers have been entered. The stain in the booklet is a bad sign. I see that more and more these days.
