sambolini Posted December 11, 2012 Author Share Posted December 11, 2012 Hi Mervyn, I'm no expert on gun laws in the States, as each state has different laws governing the sale, ownership, etc. However, federal law prohibits a fully automatic weapon being owned by an individual not licensed to own/operate one. Hi, I am just going from memory here, but I think there was a cut off date in the mid 80s where you had to register automatic weapons, it it was registered by then you had a wepon worth a lot... if it was not, then you had an illegal firearm?
