Deruelle
I have had this photo in my collection. It is interesting to see that he has chosen to wear only his wartime medals on his ribbon bar. Deruelle
close up of the medal bar. You can see that the Merit Order knight cross 1st class with X is a pre-war model.

VJK
Hi, Can anyone please give me his dates and places of birth and death, all I have is 1866 - 1937. To supplement his bio, he commanded the 19th Reichswehr Brigade from 1 Oct 1919 - 30 Sep 1920. Many thanks in advance, VJK
arb
Wegner's "Stellenbesetzung der deutschen Heere 1815-1939" volume one gives his birthdate as 04.01.1866 but two years of death 15.07.1937 (page 333) and 15.07.1933 (page 820). Obviously a typo in one or the other. Andy
