Jim Baker Posted February 15, 2006 Posted February 15, 2006 This is the thread for AFV's. Any era, any nation.
Dave B Posted February 19, 2006 Posted February 19, 2006 Ok,to start off a Forces of Valour King Tiger.[attachmentid=28096]
Laurence Strong Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 I don't do much 1/35, but here's one. The model is a Tamiya Panther G, with Dragon Panther G individual link track, a Jaguar Zimmerit Kit, and a Croswell and Hines Tow cable.
Laurence Strong Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Here's another one of the otherside, I painted it panzer grey to depict it as a late war replacement vehicle from the repai shop. I will try to get better photo's when time permits. I hope you enjoy.
Laurence Strong Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 (edited) My favorite scale, loosely set up for war gaming, an PzGdr battalion minus most of the support vehicles, with some unfinished ones in the back ground. Edited February 20, 2006 by Laurence Strong
Bob Hunter Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Dave & Laurence both of your renderings are excellent.
Jim Baker Posted February 21, 2006 Author Posted February 21, 2006 I like em all! Armor is my weakness.Larry, you weren't kidding. You do like 1/72, also my favorite.
Dave B Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Dave & Laurence both of your renderings are excellent.No,no..I cheated,I couldn't make a model to save my life My Tiger is a die cast metal job all ready assembled!Dave
Dolf Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 Well, both these are indeed die cast metal kits, but I find them nice anyway.First, a T 34/85 of the 7th Guards Tank Army, Eastern Front 1945.A "Forces of Valor" model, not 100% sure as I didn't keep the original box, but I suppose it's a 1/32 scale model.Dolf
Dolf Posted April 29, 2006 Posted April 29, 2006 And now a T34/76 of the 8th Tank Army, during the Battle for Stalingrad. This one is a Corgi 1/72 scale model.Dolf
Jim Baker Posted April 30, 2006 Author Posted April 30, 2006 Nice Dolf. They are coming out with some pretty detailed models in metal. Some of the Dragon 1/72 ready made kits are pretty impressive.
