Hello, i got this medal in a grouping and i havent held or examined one of these medals in a while and was a little concerned about it. It is probably original but i would like any other opinions on it.

Looks like a good one to me. From my end it appears to be a zinc made one with a good ribbon. Nice catch

The Luftschutz medal is a good one. It appears to be zinc.

The flawed area, circled in the image below, is interesting. I don't think I ever saw that before. Also, the tops of the letters in "FÜR" are pretty messed up.

My latest acquisition.  This is an early "lightweight" (non-zinc) type.  The ribbon is sewn together at the top, but missing the pin on the reverse. The suspension ring is not welded nor is there a hallmark on it.
