JapanX Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Quite interesting set that came to light recently. Certainly another one from the category "not your usual" ... Box
JapanX Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 Unfortunately the name of the city was painted on the photo ...
RedMaestro Posted May 17, 2013 Posted May 17, 2013 Fascinating. How does something like that come to the market? Is it even legal? Also, the covered name isn't much protection. There are so many ways to look up which city.

There are so many ways to look up which city. Hmmm... Edited May 17, 2013 by JapanX
RedMaestro Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Looks like the sale is starting to cause a localized uproar According to Vedomosti, there are only four cities it can be: Novomoskovsk Lvov Kharabovsk Yaroslavl

JapanX Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) Khabarovsk? Edited May 20, 2013 by JapanX
JapanX Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) IT should be returned to the city. I am afraid IT could happen only if somebody will pay $6000 for this piece and then donate it (anonymously) to the city (Khabarovsk?) ;) Edited May 20, 2013 by JapanX
Paul R Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 Sorry for the typo in having both letters capitalized. It was unintentional(I dont communicate in code). It should be returned. At the very worst, I hope that they captured the person that stole it. Personal awards are property of the recipient and can be sold or whatever. These city awards belong to the people and no individual has a right to sell it. This is just my opinion.
JapanX Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 At the very worst, I hope that they captured the person that stole it. This order could be stolen years ago ... Statute of limitation ...
JapanX Posted May 20, 2013 Author Posted May 20, 2013 According to Vedomosti, there are only four cities it can be Only one of these four cities was awarded with October Revolution in 1973. Novomoskovsk and Yaroslavl got Labour Banners and Lvov got Lenin. Guess who got Revolution
