ccj
Does anyone have photos of generals wearing the Prussian Crown Order 1st or 2nd class with swords or swords on ring while in Field Gray uniform?
dedehansen
Hallo ccj, this should be Generalleutnant Bruns but I´m not 100 % sure. Regards Andreas

Glenn J
Charles, a nice shot of Generalleutnant Franz v. Glasenapp wearing the Crown Order 2nd Class with Swords on Ring. Regards Glenn
ccj
That is a nice photo. Plenty of breast badges with swords too. Tell me if I'm correct or not with the following statement. The swords on ring means this man was awards a Crown Order with swords of a lower grade prior to the current award with swords on ring.
Deruelle
Andreas, Your photo is very nice but the name of the officer is Generalmajor Alfred Müller. For info there is no saxon officer named Bruns with SH2b. Christophe

ccj
Thanks Christophe, Laquis seems overloaded with awards. I dont recall ever seeing his name before. The more I read the more I realize the vast amount of general officers in WW1. If you come across a photo of a general wearing the CO2 with swords on ring in M15 bluse let me know. ccj
Heres a nice CO2x that would display nicely on a generals tunic. "emedals"
ccj
I think this is a CO in wear because it looks more like a gold center than a painted enamel center. I don't know this general's name?
