Adler 1 Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 Not so long ago, I was able to acquire this strange helmet. It's an M17, because of the metal liner band and yet with the M91 lugs for the (missing) chinstrap. There's no makers mark or size visible... The color appears to be period, but it's a strange brownish glossy paint. The helmet itself looks German, not Austrian, but yet the color does look more Austrian...
