Bernhard H.Holst Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Hello readers. I found the pictured medal bar from Mecklenburg-Schwerin rather interesting because of the later bestowed Kronen Orden 4.Kl., the Mecklenburg- Schwerin Military Merit Cross 2nd cl.1870 and the infrequently seen miniature bar. I have not pictured the regimental veteran pin. These medals appears to have belonged to a N.C.O. who after his military service with 1. Mecklenburg Dragoner Regt. Nr. 17 made some career in the civil service and received the Prussian Kronen Orden. Bernhard H. Holst
VtwinVince Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Very nice grouping with the mini-schnalle.
Rogi Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Aye looks really cool Thank you for sharing it with us Is there a way to identify this group at all? (it is a small possibility if he is a NCO?)
seeheld Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Nice bar. Can be a Zahlmeister or... The mini bar is really untypical. Best regards Seeheld
Bernhard H.Holst Posted January 24, 2014 Author Posted January 24, 2014 Hello. Thanks for the nice comments. As to identification of the recipient that seems impossible to me. Unfortunately no documents came with this group. Bernhard H. Holst
seeheld Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 You are right. Here is no chance to find the right name. Regards Seeheld
turtle Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 Very interesting bar with a quite rare combination!
