Belonged to fighter B. Rapaić, made on March 30, 1945. Today in Tihomir Tomašek's collection.

Lately I've noticed Brotherhood&Unity first classes with strange central medallion. Take a good look at the torches!

Now are these really fake or not I can not say but I personally think that something's wrong with them.

    What do you gentlemen think?

On the first look you might miss it.

But on the other photos from the ad we can take a better look at those torches.

One more detail which I find unusual is that all of the orders with the same look are not hallmarked.

When it comes to orders with lower numbers (under 1k) that's OK, but I thought that orders with higher numbers should all be hallmarked...

By the way what's the biggest number you've seen? So far almost all that I've seen (not counting conversion types) were in 2K range. Some of these that I speak of are over 3K.

    This one's even worse.

I don't think I am becoming paranoid, those torches are really crude and ugly and the same goes for the surface surrounding the flames.

I think you are correct, the surface behind the torches is very crude...I have seen second and third class orders with better finish. I assume these are from a well known seller on eBay

I agree, and yes, those are coming from a well known seller on ebay. Order with number 2548 is being offered as we speak.

More fake submarine badges. Golden ones are definitely fake, I am not sure about the silver one, some details are suspicious but the overall quality of that one is obviously better.

When all these people find out that almost all those pieces that Emonlab sells ,can be only for a key chain, unfortunatelly it will be very very late for them.....

The bad thing is that they overlook original pieces from the other sellers for a few bucks less, up to them I will say and bad for them not being a member here for correct evaluation....

I would like to thank Paja and Emanuel for their diligent work and willingness to speak the truth. Man what an eye opener.... I have been collecting rare BMX bicycles for over 30 years dealt with hundreds if not thousands of people, but have never seen before someone selling "KEY CHAINS" as the real thing. Keep up the good work guys I'm sure that I'm not the only one counting on you.

Thank you for kind words and encouragement. I am very pleased to hear you think that way and I can promise on my behalf that I will do my best to point out fakes I notice in the future.

I would also like to thank everyone else who posted helpful information on GMIC and spoke about fakes publicly. When it comes to royal, Äetnik and WW2 related militaria my biggest thanks goes to Lightfoot and Emanuel.

Unusual Order of Labor 2nd class. Strange looking back side - screw, number and the Roman numeral is different than on regular ZNB screw types...

What's the story behind this one?
