paul kennedy Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Back in November, I purchased an i.d. tag along with 2 cap badges to 6457 Pte W. Rogers The King's Liverpool Regiment. The badges are a 1915 version, and WWII version. I have no idea if they belong with the tag. Last week I found his British War Medal and Victory Medal on the auction site and placed a high bid. Today they have been reunited. I am on the lookout now for his 1914 Star (I'd love to complete the trio). William Rogers was in the 1st Bn. KLR. He arrived in France on September 12, 1914 and was discharged on May 26, 1916.
Pylon1357 Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Nice bringing these back together. I have had a few myself. Always a great feeling. I wish you luck in your search for the Star. By chance did you inquire to the seller of the pair?
Rogi Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 Cool additions and great to see them back together :)
Jerry B Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 An amazing chance to find the medals to go with the ID disc, as I am sure the disc's are not that common and to find the medals for sale to go with it, wow.
