Chris Boonzaier Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Looks like a cloth EK1 !I missed a nice bavarian group with one a few years ago....
The Prussian Posted June 3, 2015 Author Posted June 3, 2015 Hi Chris! That was my thought too!!!!!! IF it is a cloth EK, the photo seems to be very rare, isn´t it?

The Prussian Posted February 3, 2022 Author Posted February 3, 2022 Hello! Yes, that´, s clear. Unfortunately I couldn´t find a Wiedemann in the POW lists.
Graf Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Is it possible this Weidemann not to be one of the POW on the picture? He then could be just a sender of this card but not one of the POW on the card
The Prussian Posted February 5, 2022 Author Posted February 5, 2022 Hello Graf! I don´t think so. Please look at #5: He wrote: In dankbarer Erinnerung an die Wasserfahrt, Ihr Wiedemann In grateful memories at the trip on water, yours, Wiedemann It´s an english postcard and no address. So it probably will be sent in an envelope from England.
Graf Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 Then more thorough research need to be done to track Herr Wedemann Why English will make post card on German POW?! I Any way the topic is for the cross we have to try to stick to the topic.

The Prussian Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 Well, Wiedemann is hard to find. There are a few hundreds in the Red Cross list, because Wiedemann is in the same file like Widmann...
