Jock Auld
Guys, Not much about today, just this sadly! Seems a bit odd as it does not seem to confer any medal it appears to be just a thanks from the veterans organisation on behalf of the State? It is larger than A4 so the scan has not caught the edges, sorry!
Chris Boonzaier
Hi, nice doc. I think these are the first centralised doc. Most FK docs were local level items, this was the first national recognition that men served in a FK and were issued to members of all recognised Freikorps. hucks216
Thanks for posting. I can't say I have seen one of these before, I wonder who the signature belongs to?
Bernhard H.Holst
Hello Kevin. Signature is that of the later Gen.d.Inf. Wilhelm Reinhart, PlM. He received the " honorary" SS rank and was promoted to general to possibly give him adequate rank as the head of the national association of veterans. He was prominent in fighting leftist uprisings following the end of WW I. Bernhard H. Holst
