Dienstauszeichnung single mount - small

Hello all

today i got this Dienstauszeichnung on single clasp. Compared to my other singe bars this one looks a little small.

Why is the single mount so small?

Maybe it just looks small because the medal size.

I have a very similar decoration and I think, they´re so small, because the LD2 medal was quite small, with a larger mounting, it would´ve even looked smaller?!

In all that collecting years its the first single mounted Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung i ever got / saw

Very nice Imperial LS bar.  Is this for four years?  I've never seen this as a single mount either?  Perhaps for a reservist?

The Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung 2. Klasse was awarded after 12 years of Service: 2 years of active service and 10 years of service in the reserve, when at least 3 months of reserve exercises were accumulated.

I don't think so, plenty of NCO's would have received only this medal. (and worn it proudly!)
