Guest Rick Research Posted April 7, 2006 Share Posted April 7, 2006 If it was Hannoverian-- and it might not be-- next to the last COULD be the 1898 medal for ex-Queen Marie of Hannover's 81st birthday.The problem with single color ribbons is that they could be many things.Even the first two could be a variety of decorations depending on shifting Hanoverian regulations over time. HeikoGrusdat Posted April 7, 2006 Share Posted April 7, 2006 and to complete my thoughts... then it would be a Hannover long service award for officers from the time period 1837-1866.for the german collectors and of course the friends worldwide with german literature... these would be the OEK numbers 750 - 759 (Orden und Ehrenzeichen catalogue)and then it would match to be a early Hannover bar - great!!! The ?B?nderkatalog Orden & Ehrenzeichen - Deutschland 1800 - 1945? by Rolf Dieter Krischer and J?rg Nimmergut is such a reference. It is keyed to and about the same size as the OEK. My issue was printed in 1991. I will make an offer here which is when I get my new hogh speed scanner in a month or two if some has a copy of this book that is falling apart I am more then happy to make a Adobe PDF copy of the book and give it free to anyone. Maybe we can make if a free download from the forum or if we run into any copyright issues we can just pass it around forum members. Again, I need the book to scan.
