ixhs Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Hi again, I got some new pics - and i have a question about those following two: -photo dated 1920 in Munich with unreadable signature I would like to know, what kind of uniform is he wearing. He looks like an EM oder NCO. But he has geflochtene Schulterklappen on his shoulders. What means T1 on his Kragenspiegel? Is that Freikorps? The 2nd shown pic seems to be a hessian doctor. He is wearing a Phillipsorder knight, Miltärsanitätskreuz 1870 and a prussian Kriegsdenkmünze Can we ID that guy? Some kind of Stabsarzt? The pic was taken in Darmstadt.
GreyC Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Hi, I think the first one is a photo of a policeman of the Sipo (Sicherheitspolizei) special services (maybe Telegraphist). GreyC
ixhs Posted October 20, 2017 Author Posted October 20, 2017 (edited) Cool Danke. Hab mal kurz recherchiert. Scheint dem Schultergeflecht nach ein Unterwachtmeister zu sein. T steht für ? die Ziffer ist die Gruppenzugehörigkeit. Edited October 20, 2017 by ixhs
Glenn J Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 Hi, your second photograph shows a military official. My best guess would be Intendantur-Sekretär Caspar Dietz of the 25. Division in Darmstadt around the late seventies/early eighties. Regards Glenn
ixhs Posted October 21, 2017 Author Posted October 21, 2017 (edited) Thank you again, Master. I did not know that in the war of 70/71 teh GHMSK could be awarded to officials. On the last pos. he wears the KDM for NC. His bar looks like the shown one on the pic. I think the blue stripes on pos.1 were bleached out. Edited October 21, 2017 by ixhs
