Stuka f Posted November 3, 2017 Posted November 3, 2017 Any chance to get a closer pic of the medal bar?
Guy Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 I think commandeur in de Leopoldsorde Commandeur Kroon orde Politiek gevangen 14-18 Burgerlijk eretekens 1ste klas Eeuwfeest medaille Order of st Olaf ?????
922F Posted November 5, 2017 Posted November 5, 2017 Based on ribbon appearance and general cross format, his last award most likely the Order of the Oak Crown of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Kvart Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 Do you wanna ID the guy or his decorations? The Order of St. Olav looks quite large, compared to other medals. It might be the commander grade, and should be worn around the neck. Also looks like a post 1906, but pre 1937, version.
VC89 Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Hey Guy, Shouldn't it be the Civil Decoration for Bravery, Devotion and Philantrophy instead of the Civil Decoration for Long Service in the Administration? I only count two black stripes instead of three. Kind Regards, Vincent
Guy Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Vincent, it is quite possible. I have little knowledge of Civilian decoration.
