Help to identify a uniform

I bought this uniform, which I thought was beautiful.

I help you identify it,
Is it civil or military?

Beautiful . and rare .Military .

Hard to date .perhaps a closer photo of the buttons would be useful .because of the crown .

Very nice uniform but I do not think it is Military, looks like a Victorian Lord Lieutenant or Deputy Lord Lieutenants uniform to me.

I was going to say the same as Coldstream: Lord Lieutenant of a County in the UK would have been my guess.  Very lovely.

As already stated Lord LT or Deputy LT is my opinion.

Small addition:collar insignia Rose-English County.

I think the epaulettes are need for full complect.

 Very nice and would fit well with this uniform, would also need the Swan feather plume for the hat.

After i have seen the rose braided on the collar and the crown on the buttons I agree . Its not military . and Victorian .the quality of the braid is superb .

after your indications, I searched, and I think it is indeed a Lord Lieutenant. with a medelo of uniform previous to 1902.

You may already have guessed or known this, Fahnen, but the rose for English counties was replace by shamrocks for Ireland, thistles for Scotland and the Prince of Wales three plumes for Wales.   So yours is very definitely one of the English counties.
