Megan Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Kingdom of Romania: Medal for Military Virture, instituted 13 November 1926. This is the Type 1 (1926-1940) Class 2: Silver Medal with crown described as a civil award for 'navigating personnel'.
paul wood Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 Megan why does it say Pentru Marina.which refers to Maritime rather than Military which I thought was another medal? Paul
BalkanCollector Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 'Pentru Marina' literally means 'For the Navy'.
Carol I Posted August 20, 2018 Posted August 20, 2018 This is the Maritime Medal, established in 1936, later named Medal for Maritime Virtue.
sftrooper86 Posted August 21, 2018 Author Posted August 21, 2018 Hello and thank you to everyone who helped me with this new acquisition. I hope you like it as much as I do! My best, Vince
