Deutschritter
Thanks to Glenn we were able to find out more about Generalleutnant z. D. Franz Günther Wilhelm Alexander Freiherr von Humboldt-Dachroeden (Stammregiment: Westfälisches Dragoner-Regiment Nr. 7). Yesterday I read, his brother was Generalmajor Bernhard Konstantin Wilhelm Alexander Freiherr von Humboldt-Dachroeden (1863--1934). I would be grateful for any and every information about this officer of the Garde-Korps. A picture of either brother would be absolutely great! Deutschritter
This is what I have as of Rangliste 1914, but as Oberst/Generalmajor I am pretty sure he must have received higher classes of the Roter Adlerorden and the Kronenorden in the war, maybe even the HOH, seeing he was wounded severely twice. VtwinVince
Thanks Dave, I ask because I have ancestors who were closely associated with both brothers.
