Do you have any ideas from which country this order comes from?

    Thanks!

This is probably a good idea, with these post-Soviet countries, but the Middle East can also be a good lead! Thank you gentlemen ?

I would guess somewhere in Central Asia. Kazakhstan or the like. I have not kept up with what orders those nations have created in the post-Soviet era.

Also an good idea, I have checked the orders of Kazakhstan, but I only found the following ones:

    • The order of Friendship (Dostyk order)
    • The order of Kurmet
    • Medal of 10 years Astana
    • Order of Otan
    • Order of Parasat
    • Order of Aibyn
    • Order of Glory
    • Order of the Leopard
    • Order of the First President of Kazakhstan
    • Hero of Kazakhstan
    • Hero of Labor of Kazakhstan
    • Order of the Golden Eagle

But none of these looks similar to the one that you showed in your posting, so might not be Kazakhstan.

Undoubtedly this is something Ukrainian but it looks like one of the numerous non-state awards (I think it belongs to some Kossaks institution). Compare it with the highest Ukrainian order of Freedom and look at the wreath on the old Ukrainian coat-of-arms

PREM, for the future take in account that Muslim States never uses something like a Cross in badges or emblems or decorations. inclusive misunderstandig the Geneva Cross for a Christian Symbol they dont uses the Red Cross Flag or Brassard ,instead they have the Red Half Moon or the Red Lion and sun in times of the Imperial Iran , the Lion and sun badge was abolished in 1980 and replaced with the Red crescent
