Long Service Saxony Question

I’m looking at a medal bar that has an EK2, FAM in silver, Prussian 9 year LSM and Saxon LSM Second Class. It’s a beautiful bar but under what circumstances would he have the two different DA medals? Also, why would he mount the Prussian ls medal before the Saxon one?

Yeah, that’s possible, don’t recall ever seeing that before. The maker’s label is interesting, have not seen him before. A pretty bar that appeals to my Saxon needs!

First he was in Prussia army (Dienstauszeichnung II. Klasse, 12 years, not in the reserve).

Then after in saxon army (Landwehr-Dienstauszeichnung II. Klasse, in the reserve...)

 

So Prussia -> saxony

Those ribbons are perfectly good and from the period.
