Stogieman Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) I’m looking at a medal bar that has an EK2, FAM in silver, Prussian 9 year LSM and Saxon LSM Second Class. It’s a beautiful bar but under what circumstances would he have the two different DA medals? Also, why would he mount the Prussian ls medal before the Saxon one? Edited September 2, 2023 by Stogieman
Stogieman Posted September 3, 2023 Author Posted September 3, 2023 Still trying to figure this out, can anyone help?
VtwinVince Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 I saw that one, looks like a good one. This guy must have switched armies at some point?
Stogieman Posted September 3, 2023 Author Posted September 3, 2023 Yeah, that’s possible, don’t recall ever seeing that before. The maker’s label is interesting, have not seen him before. A pretty bar that appeals to my Saxon needs!
pinpon590 Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 First he was in Prussia army (Dienstauszeichnung II. Klasse, 12 years, not in the reserve). Then after in saxon army (Landwehr-Dienstauszeichnung II. Klasse, in the reserve...) So Prussia -> saxony No ?
Stogieman Posted September 7, 2023 Author Posted September 7, 2023 Well, I didn’t win this one, hope someone here did, it was a nice little bar
Mike Huxley Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 Those ribbons look extremely new to me?
