    if i recall correctly, K.A.G. stands for 'Kunst und Aktien-Gesellschaft', right?

    sort of a cooperative/grouping of workshops from a specific region?

    i thought that about 6-7 years ago a new member posted a nicely-marked '14 ek2 packet/envelope on another forum. i've tried to find the thread but have had no luck finding it. perhaps our mr. tom y has managed to save an image. i dunno..

    Doesn't ring a bell. That was several crashes and a couple burns ago, so no chance of a scan :(

    perhaps marcus hatton? he was really into cartons, cases, issue packets.... anyways...carry on with the k.a.g. crosses!

    i'll see if i have any types that haven't been posted. i know i've got at least two or three examples.

    Here are 3 2nd Classes that to my eye appear to have different cores.

    First, a thin W, rounded crown, and narrow date on the obverse. Narrow stem on the Oakleaves on the reverse.

    #2, Rounded crown as in #1, but thicker W and more squared off 1914. Reverses are very similar.

    #3, More squared off crown, W similar to #2, 1914 similar to #1. Completely different Oakleaves with a very wide stem on the reverse.
