Although I was happy with my display I didn't think it would necessarily go down that well when compared to other displays with gallantry groups etc. How wrong could I be - it won the Best of Show award and was voted by the Members as their favourite.

That goes to show that Met police Medals can hold their own with other medals and with the right research can capture peoples attention.

May I suggest an article for the OMSA? I would love to read a write up, as I missed the OMRS convention.

I would post it in the article section but because it is quite long and the way the pictures need to be displayed within the format, I don't think it will work properly in that section. I have it as a pdf file with the images in all the correct places but can't see how to post it on the Forum. It might be possible in the archives but then no one will find it I think.

I would be happy to format it for you within the articles section, you could do a separate article for each display item as you have done on the display. You could also post it as a PDF within this topic. I used to regularly go to the OMRS but haven't been for a few years now.
