Hello Megan.
This is a Belgian non official medal " La Croix Verte Colonial". I have to find my documentation but as soon as I've found it I will come back with more information.
They excist als without rosette " Chevalier" or Knight
With rosette Officier or Officer.
Hello, I have a document wich authorizes wearing a foreign order. In this case "Commandeur de l'Ordre d'Isabelle la Catholique" . Is there a list for Belgians awarded with this order? Which type of order would match this document?
Thank you in advance.
Hello Christiaan, nice collection Order of the Crown.
Those boxes with "text" as you probably allready know meaning:
- POC / GPK = Palmes d'Or Couronne / Gouden Palmen Kroonorde
- MOC / GMK = Médaille d'or Couronne / Gouden Medaille Kroonorde
Box with M 1e is probably for the Civilian medal 1st class but also could be for an other medal, Burgerlijke Medaille 1914-1918. (Civilian Medal 14-18)
Werner
Hi Veltro.
This case is for the "Silver Palmes Order of the Crown" or in dutch "Zilveren Palmen in de Kroonorde"
Z for Zilver : Silver
P for Palm : Palm
greetings, Werner
Hello Veltro and speedytop,
the medal on the right is : Medal for liberal union membership.
The other one on the left is probably a medal for a veterans association, a non official award.
Greetings,
Werner
Some examples: Medal for Liberal Union Membership.
Hello Igor.
I do not have this one. Its is a medal officialy instituted as a price medal for art.
The only information I have for the moment is a discription from a catalogue bij Guioth.
Hello Lukasz.
Thank you for your reply.
Is it possible to post a picture of the correct type of Officer (4th class) I should buy to complete this document.
Regards, Werner
Hello,
I would like to know if there exists a list of Belgians who received this Order,
I have a medal with document awarded to a Belgian, I believe he was a servant at the Royal House in Belgium.
Hallo there,
could someone help me with following document.
I would like to know what type of medal goes with this document.
Is there a list of the Belgians who were awarded this order?
regards Werner
As you can see Hendrik, his name was correctly spelled.
Indeed I know and have that publication by Peter Verstraeten.
I am aware that its almost impossible but you know that sometimes Belgian groupings comes with a foreign medal or order.
Maybe I will refraise my question later for a specific medal 😀
Regards, Werner
