That is because ignorant and uninformed people are often QUITE "happy" with their "wonderful" purchases of brand new fraudulent rubbish on eBay. I always think of this when I hear the media breathlessly reporting on the latest "public opinion poll" because... the opinions of fools are... fools' opinions. Happy fools, but still. :speechless::speechless::speechless::speechless::speechless:

Hallo Gentlemen  what is the second last medal on this, for the want of a better description: "abortion bar"

    Kevin in Deva

That is supposed to be the Papal "Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice" Cross.

    The back, for the record.

    Hallo webr55,

totaly fantasy bar, I spotted this one straight away being offered by a German seller on Ebay, an 1866 Campaign Cross, even at 18 years old, then, it would mean he was 66 when Ww1 started and by the time he was issued his Hindenberg frontfighter Cross in 1934+ he would have been 86 :banger::banger:

Not sure where his Prussian Landwehr time would fit in with his Brunswick service.

This is offered on Ebay with a number of 2x ribbon bars.

:cheeky: Love the swords on the 1897.

    Hallo Dave S

At least he is consistent with putting the swords off center, the last ribbon looks to be Romanian "Barbatie Si Credentia / For Manhood & Loyalty medal".

Aren't the medals just wrong? #2 should be a Silesian eagle ? What ribbons are those?

    Kev,

I am not entirely enthusiastic about the bar either, but this seller's descriptions are a constant source of amusement.

In any given month, check his auction descriptions and see how many times he manages to use the word "superb" :P

    Hallo Dave,

in this auction alone he manages to use the word "superb" 19 times :speechless::speechless:

He is also notorious for not replying to any questions sent him.
