    1. Perfect Tombak ball-hinge. Too bad the maker still eludes us. Could be RK, AS, and a few others. We need more clues!!! Marc
    2. I truly admire your dedication to the Luftwaffe!
    3. Tha Juncker AC is the new addition. thanks.
    4. Laurance, That sounds great! I hope you have some details beyond the Dohle book as I am looking for the very detailed list of reporting mechanisms, paperwork, deeds, etc. I want to show the reader that getting the Flak badge was more than just showing up for work! Thanks, Marc
    5. Gents, I need a copy of the German regulations for the scoring, reporting, and awarding of the Luftwaffe Flak Badge. I have the Heer one, and it is extensive! WOW! Really gives you an appreciation that you had to do something to get one of these. But I need the detailed Luft regs and would appreciate any help! Thanks, Marc
    6. I never get enough of such beauties! Well done!! Marc
    7. Thsnks J, here she is with the rest of my luft badges:
    8. Just gorgeous...the harsh light of the scanner does not do her justice:
    9. J - did you scan or photo it? Looks great! Glad you like it, Marc
    10. Just got a new one - here is my small but growing fleet...
    11. Thanks! If anyone sees or has one lemme know. Marc
    12. 128mm from end to end. So 5 awards?
    13. Rick, All I can say is it has no wear at all. The guy had this one in a closet I am sure. Pants as well. Marc
    14. I don't know much about what to look for regarding updating. The whole thing is pristine. I even have the pants and he did not wear this one much...
    15. Thanks Chris, that is gonna be tough to find...so are we sure he is Bavarian?
    16. It is named to Major Josef Vierbacher, http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=1151...mp;#entry111145
    17. Gents, Just got a named Flak Major tunic with space for a HUGE bar. How long a bar you think this will need? It is dated 1937, so probably all WW1 service... Marc
    18. And here you can see how long the ribbon bar was! Marc
    19. Sorry to have been absent. Jay - those are killers! And thanks Michael regarding the Hobacher. But I am set for these standard reverses and I am focusing on variants. Jay - that Brehmer really talks to me! Marc
    20. Rick, Good question, and I guess i am assuming too much. It is named to Major Josef Vierbacher, and was made by Karl Thon im Bamberg. Marc
    21. Micha, Does the Flak tunic have any award loops? Marc
    22. Gents, Just got this mint Flak tunic from Albert - you may have seen it before. Just gorgeous! It is a 1937 tunic to a Bavarian major and it has space for a LONG ribbon bar that will be difficult to find. I am sure the one award was a 1914 EK1, so that is on, and for fun I put a flak badge on too. It was probably something else, but who knows - what do you guys think? Thanks to Hankmeister for helping me get a USAF shirt, and that is a black East German Navy tie! I think they look great! Anyway, bad light this evening and crappy flash, but for now I stuck it in front of a painting of the heavy Flak Siebel ferry my Opa was on and put an American pilot with UK wings next to it. Gonna have to find a nice officer's cap too. Marc
    23. FANTASTIC! I am doing a bok on Flak badges. Do you have any photos of him or other items as I would love to include some in the book if you are willing. Thanks, Marc
    24. Gents, I am getting close to having all the Flak badges for my book but I need to see what is out there. Do you have a deadly mint sweet badge you think worthy of a reference book? Do you have one with an interesting reverse setup? Do you have a zinc Juncker? I really need your help. Especially some of the hard to find to see if there are reverse setups for B&NL, etc. And I really need to find S&L. I have the long oblong catch and the round catch. There have to be other variants out there. Thanks! Marc PS - Eric S you can ignore this! Known makers: 1-1 Assmann 1-2 B&NL 1-3 Brehmer (includes GB) 1-4 FLL 1-5 GWL 1-6 Hobacher 1-7 Juncker 1-8 S&L 1-9 "Wernstein" 1-10 Unknown Ball-hinge 1-11 Unknown Maker
