    1. Other side. Light was a little bright hense the red of the decal, have to re-take the pix when I get time.
    2. Very nice thread John & as usual always a pleasure to see your items. I've heard that very good copies are coming out of China these days, do you know anything of this & how to spot the differences? All I have at the moment is a reproduction catalogue . Incidently, I saw the Luft pilot you desire recently in a little shop in Munich, there wasn't a price ticket on it......... I guess if you had to ask, you couldn't afford it.... Cheers Don
    3. Excellent find Otto, keep them coming. One small point though, they aren't pictures of RAD, but pictures of Org Todt which makes them even more interesting. Thanks for showing. Don
    4. Ah, I see, I'm sorry. Perhaps I should have said that it is sometimes referred to as a "Helpers badge Type III". In his book "One People, One Reich", JR Cone refers to the group of Helpers badges using the distiction Type I, Type II etc. I do not yet have either Type I or II as I haven't found any in the condition I like. Type I is similar to the badge in post number 9 above, except that it also has the word "Helferin" around the edge. It also has a horizontal enamel bar either side so that it looks more like a clip or broach. Type II looks similar to John's Samariterin badge in post 10. Again, the word "Helferin" takes the place of Samariterin, & there is a Swastika either side of the word. Hope this clarifies my error a little . Cheers Don
    5. Hi Rosenberg, I'm sorry but I'm not really sure what it is you want to know. As I mentioned before, they were given to helpers who had shown over a period of time that they were competent in their tasks. It can also be found in a painted or lacquered form probably from later in the war when enamel was more expensive or in short supply. Cheers Don
    6. Due to loss of detail during resizing, here's a close up crop
    7. Sorry Darrell, forgot to check back No, I only have the two DRL's. Regarding the War wounded shown on WAF, looks wonderful, but also looks "different" to all of the others I've seen before. The finish is different, almost as though it's a polished bronze with silver letters...... I'm not saying it's bad, just looks different. Cheers Don
    8. My silver & War wounded are both non magnetic. Cheers Don
    9. As I was looking through a bunch of postcards in Munich the other week, I turned a card I was considering buying over to look for a price. The post mark caught my eye as I found it quite striking. Here it is, has anyone else any unusual or striking postmarks that they are willing to show? Cheers Don
    10. decal. You have to keep any eye on these as like everything, they have been widely faked.... Cheers Don
    11. Anyone like the Luftschutz helmets? Here's one of mine, a near mint parade helmet. Cheers Don
    12. Very nice Richard, it's sure in a good condition. I've been hunting for a nice M35 DD with the bordered decal have you got one? Cheers Don
    13. Thank you gentlemen, yes these are getting expensive these days. Jim, It can't be easy finding anything with Ron hanging around....... Cheers Don
    14. Never given these much thought before, but came across these while in Munich & thought "why not".... Cheers Don
    15. Other side. The colours are a bit off I'm afraid, too bright a light. I'll have to retake them when I get time.
