Two Ehrenkreuze on one bar is possible, but against the rules. There was a decree that those who qualified for both - e.g. beeing an old soldier on or behind the front, plus having a son who was KIA - are only allowed to wear one. I know some women wore medal bars instead of bows (and the other way round!), but I can hardly imagine this is a woman's bar. Fit's perfectly for someone like a - male - ammo firm owner.

No, cannot remember that one. On the other hand, bars with an Albrecht do all look almost the same to me, without something "exotic" in it. Would like to see that, as son as you're having it in hands.

Well, when I saw this bar for the last time it was still Helmuth Weitze's, but stuff is changing hands withing Hamburg. ;)

That Baden long service award is a replacement. There should be rather something like a Lippe wedding or coronation medal... cannot remember exactely.

Actually, the ban did not come until 1936. There was a time gab in which people could wear their dozen inofficial awards PLUS the official Honour Cross. Seen often on early SA photos in 1934/35.

And last but not least... Unfortunally, I have no idea whose thsi stuff is now. I hope it is still one group. I was sent the pictures some years ago by someone, but he did not get the stuff, unfortunally. Hope you like it though. Reunited.

Two more ribbon bars, therse with war time awards only. Notice the use of a wrong Württemberg ribbon on one of bars. This would have made any identification extremely difficult, adding he's not wearing his peace time awards.

Especially regarding none was ever awarded... Were WgMs give to non-Württemberg junior officers at all?

Funny photo... must be a high Red Cross guy, and I would totally not be suprised if his EH2a (SEHO commander grade) would be post-1918 Coburg and Gotha award. No, that's the star to his Ernestine neck cross. ;)

Lovely bars, especially that first one. Seems to be a early WW1 bar to an Oberst in 1914 with RAO3S and KO3. That last place must be Brunswick House order... Haven't seen many RAO3S ribbon bars before. Let's say two or three... and still have none for my own... :rolleyes:

EK2, Kyffhäuserbund, long service award, a quite German post WW1 war memorial medal and last but not least: Argonnenkreuz! I guess this is the rarest of this series consisting also of of Verdun, Somme, Champagne...

That must be right with this bar. I think Timo is right assuming it came from NavalMark's former navy collection. Many named bars that cannot be proven by just what we have from rank and award lists - but they used to come from the wearers and their families. :beer:

Regarding Fr. Sedlatzek: From what I know he was only a re-seeler, not a maker of any orders and decorations. Means he bought, stamped and re-sold awards. This would very well explain why he's "using" different styles.

It was Königshusaren! King's hussars... ;)

Maybe we have an faster idee seing the whole bar. That far: neither EK nor HOH... I was too fast... still it's neither of the mentioned. There's a Prussian fire fighter's award with a similar ribbon, isn't it?
