Duksis, nice find, the 202 and 203 Inf Divs both fought at Riga, so right where you are. I cannot read if that is 408 or 409 IR, but perfect for where you are. best Chris

Hi, the shaft of the grenade is hollow and slides over the pole on the top of the launcher. There is a cartridge in the top of the grenade. When the trigger is pulled the firing pin in the top of the pole hits the cartridge and off it goes... Best Chris

I will be devils advocate and say.... from what I see, i think it could be an interesting variation. If you are faking a stamped one piece is the easiest way to go. 2 pieces, with what looks like 2 metals is waaaay harder... and why bother to go to the trouble. Its impossible to see the quality in the pics, but from what we see, I would not discount it....
