    1. That sounds good, I have a Feldgraue Visor, if thats OK then I can hold of on running out and looking for a Blue one? Best Chris P.S. Does Tony have his up on the site?
    2. Well, then I am relieved to say the offer was enough to make me accept right away, unfortunately this has probably changed hands 10 times since then. What dont you like on the Promo? I had not even taken notice of that one. best Chris
    3. I am picking up a Bavarian dark Blue Leutnant Litewka next month. My understanding... these were worn up until 1916? If I was to display it... what would I need to complete it? Lets say a Leutnant on leave, behind the front, going courting, at the Hoffbrauhaus, walking his dog in January 1916... I hean head gear, sword, belt, probable awards etc. etc... Thanks Chris
    4. Hi Maybe it has same roots as French Colis for package? I guess it could be read as "Packaged belted Machine Gun Ammo" with the big box being the package. Ot does not take the 08/15 drims, but rather the regular 250 round belts in their boxes. Best Chris
    5. Please check out the "Whats new " section... some fantastic Assualt troops stuff and a great article about WW1 in Africa again from Harry
    6. Of course, my drill instructor would not have insulted a RK winner, but from the hyper modern glasses and striped shirt he may have heard Sgt Kohlmorgens favourite insult "Hey! You! Pink Floyd!... Come here!"
    7. I was never quite sure if the EK2 doc was not an add on... no real reason i could put my finger on, it was just so ÜBER - Sexy. I ran it by Hüsken about a decade ago and he pushed cash in my hand, so it was probably good.
    8. If you bought this exact piece some years ago, contact me and i can give you some rough info on the owner and the unit he was in, before it all gets forgotten.
    9. While we are waiting ;-) For me this was THE hardest, gritiest WW1 Aviation novel ever... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goshawk_Squadron His WW2 RAF Novel "Piece of cake" is even darker and grittier...
    10. Anyone have an idea what IAK XV can mean? I Armee Korps 15? sounds unlikely on a MG item....
    11. He has something that would make even a non collector drool ;-)
    12. Found these when digging around pics of the old collection..... I THINK there was an EK2 doc to a really infamous police unit, but cannot find it yet....
    13. Was just culling some signatures from photos of my old collection for the signature database and found this. Not a nice print, but it is what it is...
