    1. The finish alone on this badge should be enough to send a knowledgeable collector running for the weeds..... never mind the absolute crap "quality".
    2. Hey, I am the original "green background" seller... Everyone else is just a poser.
    3. OK, very much enjoying this session of knowledge. I see a distinct lack of quality of finishing edges on the reverse of the eBay example. But after that..... they still look pretty darn close. You can distinctly see gilding on Mike's (beautiful) example. But in the eBay pix.... looks to me like there's gilding on a couple of those crowns as well. One thing I have learned from all my handling of fire-gilt navy pilot/observer badges is that the gilding is sometimes almost impossible to capture in a photo.....
    4. I think you have a modern, laser-cut copy. In all my years I have seen exactly one (1) picture of an actual cut-out badge in wear, yep. Thousands of images have floated through here. One (1) cut-out badge shown. I will search my archives for it.
    5. Well if it's a botch-job, somebody just paid a heck of a lot of Euros for it. I like the cross and the enamel work as well as the underlay. it's certainly not the Godet example commonly accepted as original, but beyond that.... I simply have no experience with the piece and thought it should be brought forward. I can offer no other images for review, these were all culled off of the eBay listing.
    6. Not often I get to say "that'a a first".... never seen this cased and boxed. Can't remember ever seeing more than 3 real ones before. A good set of pix to save. :ots of copies out there. This one went 1580- Euro.
    7. Again... exceptionally nice to see a box for this scarcer medal!
    8. Kind of looks like an EK somebody played serious games with for reasons known only to themselves.... the beading looks quite nice, but it looks like the outer frame was snipped off using tin-snips....
    9. Hi Theodor, related in that they are both from the same Organization. The date/syntax errors are simply a lack of coffee.
    10. Otlichnik of Communications Industry. Later style, but still really nice enamel!
    11. This one is pretty worn down... Worn with pride? Or a later/ subsequent die to the first example posted? Center appears to be real silver, I suspect that they were worn down quickly
    12. My latest Partisan Star Badge. Enamel cracked, but otherwise OK.
    13. Nice little pair of "Physical Culture" related badges with boxes & documents: 1981 set:
